World Nature Forum

The World Nature Forum is home to the UNESCO Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch World Heritage Site. An interactive exhibition allows visitors to get to know and understand the natural and cultural landscape of this high alpine environment. This spectacular exhibition, laden with a collection of fascinating films, interactive displays, informative boards and artefacts, awakens the inner explorer in every visitor.

The Alps are in danger

The importance of the Alps as an economic region is waning. Agriculture in the mountains is dying out and forecasting the impact of climate change is impossible. How will fields be irrigated once the glaciers have melted? What will happen to the local tourism industry change when winters do not bring snow? These and many more questions are dealt with at the exhibition located in the grounds of the Aletsch campus in Naters.

Highlight of the exhibition

The exhibition’s highlight is a 100-square-metre screen located in the panorama room that shows exclusive footage from the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Much more than just an exhibition

The World Nature Forum is not only an exhibition centre. It also houses a congress and seminar facilities. An ideal location for your next team event!

Guided tours

Guided tours are available for groups, associations and companies. The tour lasts 1.5-2 hours, including the two films in the panorama cinema (each approximately 15 min). The price of a guided tour is CHF 120 (admission fee not included).
