The Upper Valais Teachers' Choir, together with the Grächen Mixed Choir and under the musical direction of Hansruedi Kämpfen, is presenting the impressive concert project “Carmina Burana 2.0.”

 This program is based on the Codex Buranus, the world-famous collection of medieval song and drama texts from the Benediktbeuern Abbey, which has lost none of its fascination to this day. The Codex Buranus is a World Cultural Heritage Site! Inspired by these texts, Carl Orff’s legendary choral work *Carmina Burana* was composed as early as 1936. With his work *Perpetuum Mobile*, composer Peter Schindler has created a new, modern interpretation of selected texts, which is now being presented here in its Swiss premiere.
