Gymnastics is very popular throughout Switzerland and is also deeply rooted in Valais. Among the sporting clubs, the gymnastics clubs enjoy special esteem in many places. Thus, gymnastics clubs shape the social fabric in the community and connect generations! The Cantonal Gymnastics Festival 2023 will not only build a bridge between old and young, but also between the Upper and Lower Valais. Between 6,000 and 8,000 visitors are expected at the festival over the two weekends.
Around 2,000 gymnasts from all over the canton as well as some guest sections from outside the canton will compete. To ensure that everything runs smoothly, the OC will be assisted by around 300 volunteers. We are looking forward to a collegial and gymnastically high-class festival!
