After the witches' descent comes Witches Night.

 It’s finally witch season again! Switzerland’s craziest mass downhill race, the Belalp Hexe, will take place for the 45th time on Saturday, January 16, 2027. The opening ceremony will be held on Friday.

Witches’ Night promises not only mystical encounters and mysterious moments, but also musical highlights that will enchant your senses. When the witches start dancing, night turns into day. So, put on your best witch’s robes, grab your wands, and get ready.

**Friday, January 15, 2027**

**Fondue Chalet**

When the Witches’ Tent in Blatten is bathed in golden light and the scent of cheese on Friday evening, Witches Night Blatten 2027 begins—with a fondue evening that perfectly combines indulgence, tradition, and a festive atmosphere.
Our partner Walker AG will serve a creamy Valais fondue à discrétion, accompanied by fine wines from the Seewer Winery and refreshing drinks.
Amid steaming caquelons, twinkling lights, and mystical decorations, an atmosphere takes shape that can only be found in the Upper Valais—warm, authentic, and simply magical.

Marquee opens: 19.00.

On stage, a top-notch lineup will set the mood from the very first minute:

**Witches Night**

On Saturday, Witches Night Blatten 2027 reaches its climax! After the spectacular Belalp Witches’ Downhill, groups of witches, riders, locals, and guests will gather in the Witches’ Tent for the grand finale.
The **official awards ceremony** for the Witches’ Downhill begins at 18.00**.**

The music continues right away with an energetic program:
