Lötschberg Bridge

Many wonderful hikes lead along the over 100-year-old Lötschberg mountain line of the BLS from Hohtenn via Ausserberg, Eggerberg and Lalden to Naters or Brig.

The southern ramp

Europe's first railway hiking trail fascinates with alpine and southern vegetation, water-bearing suonen, spectacular railway buildings and great views, but also with cosy benches as well as exciting information boards and panoramas.
The "Lötschberger-Südrampe" hike, which is 26 kilometres long in total, can be hiked in its entirety or in sections. The newest section, Lalden-Naters, was opened in 2013.
