The two climbing areas Panoramaweg and Roter Turm are located near the hut and are suitable as a family area or as an entry point for big ventures to the Wysshorn or Distelberg. These two are only recommended for good climbers with alpine experience!
There are still some worthwhile climbing tours in the region, but these are not listed here due to their alpine character. Further information on these can be found in the SAC club guide.
