The tourist tax revenue is used in the interest of the guests and serves to finance:
The tourist tax is levied per overnight stay. Whoever accommodates guests subject to the tourist tax is obliged to collect the tourist tax. In case of failure to do so, the guest is responsible for the payment.

Information for guests
In return for paying the visitor's tax, you receive a guest card and thus benefit from numerous discounts. The guest card is sent as a QR code or print-out version or it can be obtained from the accommodation provider.
Information for landlords
If the spa and accommodation taxes are paid, you can request a web client login from us in return for the taxes paid. With this login you can create the guest cards for your guests, so that they can benefit from numerous discounts. You can send the guest cards to the guests via the webclient as QR code or print-out version.
DISCOUNTS WITH THE GUEST CARD
The guest card entitles you to various discounts or free services in the destination Blatten-Belalp as well as Brig-Aletsch-Goms. Below you will find a list of the benefits that you can expect in the tourist destination Blatten-Belalp.
As of summer 2022, you will benefit with the guest card from a 50% discount on the normal fare on the single and return trips Blatten - Belalp (valid for summer and mid-season).
TOURIST TAX - VALID SINCE NOVEMBER 1, 2019
The adult rate for visitor's taxes is valid for ages 16 and older and is CHF 4.50 per night. Young people aged 6-16 pay CHF 2.25 per night and children under 6 are free of charge.

GUEST CARDS FOR YOUR GUESTS
If you rent out your vacation apartment to guests and you already have a personal login, you can use this button to register for the program "Deskline Webclient" from Feratel. By using the webclient you do not need to fill in the previous registration forms. In return, however, the guest data must always be entered via webclient. This enables you to issue guest cards for your guests.
If you have not yet registered as a landlord with us and/or do not yet have access to the webclient, we ask you to send us a corresponding message by mail to kurtaxe@belalp.ch.
Identification is required for all guest cards.
