In recent years, there has been an increase in private parcels being incorrectly addressed to the business addresses of Belalp Bahnen AG or Blatten-Belalp Tourismus AG.
To ensure that our operational processes are not disrupted and that all shipments can be delivered correctly, we have summarised the most important information for you in a clear question and answer section.
Please note that incorrectly addressed parcels may incur a handling fee of CHF 5.
All correctly addressed postal parcels are delivered to the Blatten post office, where they can be collected within 7 days.
Please always provide your private residential or chalet address in Blatten/Belalp.
The business addresses of Belalp Bahnen AG and Blatten-Belalp Tourismus AG may not be used for private mailings.
Letters are delivered exclusively to letterbox systems.
All newspapers will be delivered to the letterbox system (BKA) if one is specified.
Otherwise, the newspapers will be available for collection at our post office for 7 days.
Dispo boxes (Migros boxes) are delivered exclusively on Saturdays. The collection window is from 11.00 to 14.00. Boxes that are not collected may be left at the transfer point after 2:00 p.m. as a gesture of goodwill.
If boxes are not collected on time or are not accepted by Beltour, they will be returned. Guests must provide their name and chalet address or Rischinustrasse 5 when placing their order. Additional information such as Beltour, tourist office or mountain railway must not be used.
Packages can be collected from the Blatten Tourist Office during regular opening hours.
Parcels and bulky goods can be addressed and accepted as usual in Blatten.
Please note: Only items up to 1 × 1 metre in size can be posted.
International shipments must be registered in advance online at www.post.ch/en
Couriers always deliver to the chalet address.
If this is not possible, parcels will be left at the tourist office for collection (max. 7 days).

Yes, a handling fee of CHF 5 per parcel will be charged for incorrectly addressed private parcels sent to the business addresses of Belalp Bahnen AG or Blatten-Belalp Tourismus AG.
This fee must be paid in cash on site.
If you are unable to collect a parcel or registered letter within the specified period, you have the option of requesting a collection invitation: Missed a deadline extension free of charge.
Deadline extensions cannot be made by email or telephone at the Blatten post office.
A parcel or letter with the address suffix ‘Postlagernd’ (post office box) will always be held for collection at the post office in Blatten for one month.
