The little Belalp witch Vero had a blast on a beautiful afternoon and hid witches‘ gold pieces on the hiking trails that can be collected between Naters and Belalp.
"In the deep forest in the middle of the Blind Valley there is a little house - a witch's house to be precise. The little witch girl Veronika-Shyla-Zentiara lives in it. Her friends and neighbours call her Vero for short. Vero is 105 years old and, like all witch children, goes to school every morning. This spring, Vero was bored and had an idea!
She whizzed around on her broom and hid pieces of witch's gold in her favourite places from Naters all the way up to the Belalp."

Collect the witches' gold pieces and become a witch's apprentice, apprentice witch or even witch master.
After the search, you can bring the treasure map back to the tourist office in Blatten or the WNF in Naters and collect your reward.
*The hamlet of "Chaschtler" is located in the Salwald above Mund. On the hiking trail to the left of the Salwald restaurant.

The secret of the witches' pass

Our young and old guests can obtain a witches' pass at the Blatten-Belalp Tourismus counter in Blatten, at the World Nature Forum in Naters or from their hotelier. With this pass, the witches' gold pieces can be collected at various hiking destinations throughout the Blatten-Belalp area by clipping the witches' pass. Depending on the length of the hike, a certain number of gold pieces will be found.

Win prizes with the witches' pass

On departure or at the end of the summer season, the witches' pass is returned to the tourist office in Blatten near Naters. The staff will then add up the points for the individual hikes undertaken and hand out the corresponding award. There is also the opportunity to take part in the competition and win exciting prizes.
