Thermal baths Brigerbad

The unique thermal and wellness oasis in Brigerbad looks back on a long history. The hot thermal springs in Brigerbad were already known in Roman times. Under the leadership of the couple Hans and Cécile Kalbermatten, the baths have developed since the 1950s into a modern thermal facility in the middle of the sun-drenched Valais Rhone Valley.

The spacious SPA was completely redesigned with the extensive conversion in 2013-2014 into a thermal and wellness oasis. Separated from the rest of the thermal baths, the area is accessible with the red wristband and invites you to relax and feel good. Children and young people under the age of 16 are not admitted.

An additional highlight is the famous thermal grotto in the rock with its 40-42 degree water. For the daring, a short dive into the adjacent cold water grotto is also worthwhile.

The thermal grotto and the steam baths must be entered in swimwear.

The sauna area on the upper floor is a nude zone. Experience daily infusions with special aromas, to which the infusion masters draw your attention with announcements. The aromas also change periodically in the steam baths on the ground floor. On the upper floor, a view-protected access to the outdoors, with sun loungers and a cold water pool provide refreshing relaxation.
