BELALP HEXE VERTICAL RACE

For over 40 years, the legendary Hexenabfahrt on the Belalp has attracted skiers from all over Switzerland. In 2026, the major event comes with something new:
for the first time ever, the Belalp Hexe Vertical Race will take place. Endurance athletes will conquer around 1,000 meters of elevation gain from Blatten (1,300 m a.s.l.) to Schönbiel (2,300 m a.s.l.) – whether on foot, with touring skis, or snowshoes.

Participants can compete individually, as couples, or in teams. Those who take part in both the downhill and the vertical race will be crowned Witch Master of the Combination.

  • Free choice of equipment: e.g. touring skis

Entry Fee & Payment:

  • Entry fee: CHF 60.– per person
  • Alpine & Vertical combination: CHF 100.–
  • Online payment can be made easily by credit card according to Datasport’s guidelines.
  • The entry fee includes all services listed in the event regulations.
  • Late registrations on site must pay the entry fee in cash (CHF).
  • From January 1: entry fee CHF 100.–
