This year's Oberwalliser Jagdhornbläser Treffen will take place in Naters. The Bortelhorn hunting horn players are organising the event and are also celebrating their 30th anniversary. They are taking the occasion to change their instruments from the Fürst Pless to ES horns. A total of 4 other hunting horn groups from the Upper Valais, a guest group from Basel and the Upper Valais Hunting and Nature Lovers Choir will perform at the meeting.
At 9.30 am, mass will be held in the parish church with the blessing of the instruments. This will be followed by an aperitif (offered by the municipality of Naters) and lunch at the Missione Centre. The presentations by the groups start at 1.30 pm. In between, the "Scheerippi Botsche" and the alphorn quartet "Hüero Güet" will provide musical entertainment.
