The Chapel of St. John the Baptist is located in the centre of the village of Birgisch and remains a popular place for religious occasions. St. John the Baptist Birgisch is a house of God, a consecrated place and was built in 1687. It was only renovated in 2011.

The chapel of St. John Birgisch is the property of the parish of St. Mauritius Naters. It can be rented for religious occasions.
