CHAPEL OF ST. CATHERINE IN UNTER-MOOS

The chapel was built in 1864 by Moritz Bammatter, father of chaplain Benjamin Bammatter. The year "1864" is carved and painted on the gable. The chapel was built without the permission of the bishop, as the visitation records explicitly state. It was owned by the Moritz Bammatter heirs and was donated by them to the chaplaincy at the beginning of the 1970s. 

Last restoration in 1975/1976 by architect Paul Sprung.
