An unobstructed view of 14 four-thousand-metre peaks, snow-covered summits and cotton-white clouds - the breathtaking panoramic view from the Aletschbord on Belalp is otherwise only known from the seat of an aeroplane. How fitting, therefore, that such a seat has been available on the Aletschbord since summer 2017.
The Aletsch Glacier is the largest and longest of its kind in the Alps. Therefore, a view of it is something very special, as beautiful and rare as the queen of Alpine flowers, the edelweiss. So it is all the more fitting that Edelweiss, Switzerland's leading holiday airline, is now also to be found in the region. After naming one of its aircraft after our beautiful Belalp in June 2017, since 10 August 2017 you can take a seat on the Aletschbord on an Edelweiss Bänkli in the shape of an aeroplane seat and enjoy a view as if you were out of the plane.
