A week before the big Witches' Downhill, on 11 January 2025, small and big witches will meet for the Mini - Maxi Race.
As with the Witches' Downhill, a distinction is made between the two categories "Racers" and "Witches".
The starting places are limited to 150 teams. You can register from approx. the beginning of November until Friday, 10 January 2025, 18:00. No more registrations will be considered at the start.

The organiser of the Mini-Maxi Witch is the Belalp Hexe association.
The Mini-Maxi Witch is a ski race which is organised in the following two categories:
a) Mini-Maxi
b) Mini-Witches
In the "Mini-Maxi" category, one child or young person and one adult form a team.
In the "Mini-Hexen" category, children or young people compete individually or in a group
The 'Maxi' cannot register with 2 'Minis'.
The participation fee is CHF 30.00 per team (mini and maxi).
The participation fee for witches is CHF 30.00 per 2 persons and CHF 5.00 for each additional person.
For organisational reasons, the number of participants in the "Mini and Maxi racers" category is limited to 150.
There is no participant limit for witch groups.
The start is on Schönbiel (2'300 metres above sea level) and the finish on Chiematte (2'047 metres above sea level)
Start: 2'300 m above sea level, 11:00 a.m. - "Piste Tälli"
Race announcement: 15:30, in the finish area at the top station of the gondola lift on the Belalp
Race number distribution: Ricco's Iglu until the start of the race
Categories: 11 categories, in each of which 1 child and 1 adult start (except witches)
Finish: 2'047 m above sea level, Chiematte
The race track for the Mini-Maxi Hexe will be marked on race day. It can be inspected until 10.45 am. Racing practice is prohibited.
Wearing a crash helmet (BFU approved) is compulsory for all participants, including those wearing fancy dress. Compliance with the helmet requirement will be checked at the start. Only participants with skis will be admitted.
The instructions of the race officials must be followed. Participants undertake to adapt their speed to the conditions and to ski by sight. In addition, the general FIS rules apply, in particular FIS rule no. 2 (control of speed and skiing style).
In the "Girls I" and "Boys I" categories, the 'Mini' and 'Maxi' can start at the same time and ride the race together, whereby the 'Mini' must ride the race independently. In the other categories, the 'Mini' and 'Maxi' start separately, with the 'Mini' always starting as the first team member.
Participants in both categories will be disqualified if:
a) a team member does not pass all gates correctly
b) a team member does not reach the finish line
c) race training takes place on the race course
d) the team starts in the wrong category
The Organising Committee of the Belalp Hexe (Belalp Hexe Association) declines all liability towards all participants/competitors and spectators for damage caused or attributable to participants/competitors or auxiliary persons. The Belalp Hexe organising committee also accepts no liability for any fault. Insurance cover against accidents and liability is the responsibility of each individual participant.
