The traditional downhill run with the crowning of the Alpine Queen and traditional country music is a highlight.
When the Alpine summer comes to an end, the farmers lead their cattle back down to the valley. Every year, many enthusiastic spectators marvel at the traditionally decorated cows as they set out on their long journey to Blatten.

You reach the destination Blatten-Belalp via Brig and Naters. You can then take the gondola or cable car up to Belalp.

If you travel to Blatten-Belalp by car, there are parking spaces and an underground car park available in Blatten.

If you travel to Blatten-Belalp by public transport, you change from the train to the post bus in Brig.
