Discover the exhibition 'In Tolkien's Footsteps,' taking place along an easily accessible hiking trail behind the historic village of Blatten. The artworks, inspired by the landscapes and stories of J.R.R. Tolkien, are printed on aluminum panels and displayed freestanding along a section of the hiking trail.
The exhibition offers the opportunity to contemplate the nature of this place from an artistic perspective and reflect on the inspiration it provides. From realistic landscape depictions to fantastical interpretations of nature, a diverse array of works awaits.
The exhibition opening will take place on July 20 at 10:00 am as a matinee and will run until August 10. 'In Tolkien's Footsteps' is organized by Visarte Wallis, a regional group of Visarte Switzerland, the professional association of visual artists.
