- Start: Belalp, mountain station cable car
- Destination: Belalp, mountain station cable car
From the top station of the cable car, the trail first leads to the Chiematte. If you wish, you can treat yourself to a snack here before the rest of the hike. The trail now leads across alpine meadows to the Kelchbach stream and then a short ascent to the Suone Nessjeri.
The "Nessjeri" was first mentioned in 1477 and begins at 2,140 metres at the Kelchbach. At first it runs on a balcony diagonally opposite the Aletsch glacier with a barely noticeable incline to the Nessel and then rushes down to the valley as a foaming stream.
When you reach Nessel, take a break and enjoy the panorama. The path leads back below the Suone to Alpe Bäll and from here back to the starting point of the hike.

Safety guidelines
Especially in autumn, you should also be aware that leaves lying on the ground can hide bumps, roots, stones or holes in the path. After storms, trees can still fall over or branches can fall down. Especially in adverse weather conditions, muddy and slippery passages can occur on natural paths. You have to expect this kind of path impairment when you go on a hike.
Not all rocks or precipices are secured with ropes or railings. In some cases surefootedness is required. If you are of the opinion that certain sections of the trail are not passable for you, you should avoid them.
