It's finally witching time again! The craziest popular downhill run in Switzerland will take place for the 44th time on Saturday, January 17, 2026 the Belalp Hexe. The opening ceremony takes place on Friday.

The Witches Night promises not only mystical encounters and mysterious moments, but also musical highlights that will beguile your senses. When the witches start dancing, night turns into day. So, put on your best witches' robes, grab your wands and be ready.

Fondue Chalet

When the witches' tent in Blatten is cloaked in golden light and the smell of cheese on Friday evening, Witches Night Blatten 2026 begins - with a fondue evening that perfectly combines indulgence, tradition and party atmosphere.
A creamy Valais fondue à discrétion will be served by our partner Walker AG, accompanied by fine Seewer wines and cool drinks.
Between steaming caquelons, twinkling lights and mystical decorations, an atmosphere is created that can only be found in the Upper Valais - warm, genuine and simply magical.

Opening of the marquee: 19.00

Witches Night

Witches Night Blatten 2026 reaches its climax on Saturday! After the spectacular Belalp witches' descent, groups of witches, riders, locals and guests will meet in the witches' tent for the grand finale.
The official prize-giving ceremony for the Witches' Downhill starts at 18.00
