Directions

The audio theme trail begins on Belalp at the mountain station of the cable car. The path follows the natural road towards Alpe Bel up to below the hamlet of Chazulecher. There, you leave the natural road to the right towards Antoniuswald (biketrail junction). Now follow the hiking trail to the hamlet of Tschuggen. In Tschuggen, a beautiful, shady forest playground invites you to linger. Then the path leads via a shortcut through the "Guferli" to the hamlet "Hasul". Continue on the hiking trail to Batten at the valley station.

Safety guidelines

Despite the “unmistakable” marking of the hiking trails, we recommend always carrying an appropriate hiking map for safety reasons, so that, for example, in case of a thunderstorm or emergency, you can quickly find a safe area.

Especially in autumn, note that fallen leaves on the ground can conceal unevenness, roots, stones, or holes in the path. After storms, trees may still fall or branches may come down. Especially in adverse weather conditions, natural paths can become muddy and slippery. You should expect such trail impairments when hiking.

Not all rocks or cliffs are secured with ropes or railings. Surefootedness is sometimes required. If you consider certain trail sections impassable for you, you should avoid them.
