From the top station of the cable car (2094 m above sea level) via Bruchegg and Hotel Belalp to the Aletschbord (2130 m above sea level). Caution: Between the cable car mountain station and Bruchegg, skiers may be approaching.
This is an easy and short 30-minute winter hike. From the Aletschbord there is a fantastic view of the Great Aletsch Glacier in its winter guise. The Great Aletsch Glacier is part of the UNESCO Jungfrau-Aletsch World Heritage Site. In terms of area, it is the largest and longest glacier in the Alps. The length of the glacier is 22.75 kilometres.
Afterwards, you can enjoy fine delicacies on the panorama terrace at the Hotel Belalp, soak up the sun and enjoy the view of the Valais mountains all the way to the Matterhorn.
