From the cable car mountain station (2094 metres above sea level), the route leads via Bruchegg and Hotel Belalp to the Aletschbord (2130 metres above sea level). Caution: skiers may approach between the cable car mountain station and Bruchegg.
This is an easy and short 30-minute winter hike. From the Aletschbord there is a fantastic view of the Great Aletsch Glacier in its winter guise. The Great Aletsch Glacier is part of the UNESCO Jungfrau-Aletsch World Heritage Site. In terms of area, it is the largest and longest glacier in the Alps. The glacier is 22.75 kilometres long.
Afterwards, you can savour fine delicacies on the panoramic terrace of the Hotel Belalp, soak up the sun and enjoy the view of the Valais mountains all the way to the Matterhorn.

From Brig you can reach Blatten bei Naters via Naters, then take the cable car to the car-free Belalp.
