The Weisse Meile is a winter hiking trail on the Belalp and leads from the Chiematte up to the Schönbiel. The entrance is directly at the top station of the cable car on the Chiematte. First you pass under the Kelchbach chairlift and then continue towards the bed of the Kelchbach stream.

Untouched winter landscape

Whether on foot or with snowshoes: In this secluded part of Belalp, you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy the magical winter landscape while winter hiking. After a little more than an hour's walk, you reach Schönbiel at 2300m.

For those who prefer to walk downhill

Of course, there is also the option of walking down to Chiematte from Schönbiel or sledging down on the Ghosky. To do this, first take the chairlift up to Schönbiel and follow the signs to the White Mile.
