- Start: Belalp mountain station cableways
- Destination: Aletschbord
The starting point of this snowshoe trail is the cable car mountain station (2094 m asl). Then the path leads to Bruchegg (warning: oncoming skiers) and towards the Kristall restaurant.
At first, the path is somewhat steep, but after 10 minutes you reach the junction where the path flattens. Above the restaurant, proceed to Lüsgersee (2094 m asl) and from there continue to the valley station of the Färrichlift. Here you reach the Aletschbord trail passing the Lüsga kiosk, continuing to Hotel Belalp and Aletschbord. At Aletschbord, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Great Aletsch Glacier and the Valais mountains. Afterwards, enjoy a refreshment at Hotel Belalp.
You return to the starting point (Belalp mountain station) by a 30-minute walk along the Aletschbord trail. Another option is to descend directly to Blatten via the snowshoe trail "Holzji".
