Rapid descents on the Belalp

Sledding on the Belalp is totally popular and the perfect winter fun if you want to take a ski-free day or enjoy the beautiful downhill in our breathtaking winter landscape. In total, the rapid descent leads 9.9 km from Schönbiel through both steep and gentle passages down the mountain to Blatten. The toboggan run consists of the small toboggan run "Weisse Meile" with a length of about 2.2 km and the popular downhill run from Belalp to Blatten (7.7 km long).

Sledge rental

The Belalp Bahnen AG as well as the sports store RIP Zone in Blatten and on the Belalp rent Ghosky sledges in winter. To ensure that the sledding run is fun, the Ghoskys are checked after each guest, sharpened depending on the condition and brought back to shape. The right equipment as well as a helmet are especially important when sledging, so that nothing stands in the way of a perfect sledging day on the Belalp!
