The chalet “Akelei” is located at the traditional Alpe Bäll, the lowest part of the Belalp at around 2000 metres above sea level. Thanks to the chalet's unique location, you can enjoy a free view of the beautiful landscape of the Valais Alps and benefit from the peaceful surroundings.
In the winter, the ski area can be reached in around 15 minutes on foot, whilst you can ski right from the ski area to the front door if snow conditions are good. The location of the chalet is also ideal as a starting point for various ski tours and winter hikes, such as the "Weisse Meile".
In summer, the chalet is located in the middle of the hiking area and is the starting point for a variety of hiking destinations such as the Foggenhorn at 2569 metres above sea level or the Alpe Nessel. Furthermore, the chalet is located at the start of the "Nesselloop" bike tour and many other bike trails can be reached in just a few minutes.

Arrivals and departures generally only on Saturdays. Exceptions possible by arrangement.
The chalet is ready for occupancy by 14:30 on the day of arrival.
On the day of departure, the chalet must be vacated by 11:00 am.
Arrival in winter by gondola lift, in summer by cable car. Luggage transport possible in winter and summer with the Belalp-Bahnen.
