From the cable car mountain station (2094 m above sea level) you go via Bruchegg and Hotel Belalp to Aletschbord (2130 m above sea level). Caution: Skiers may come towards you between the cable car mountain station and Bruchegg.
This is an easy and short 30-minute winter hike. From Aletschbord there is a fantastic view of the Great Aletsch Glacier in its winter attire. The Great Aletsch Glacier is part of the UNESCO Jungfrau-Aletsch World Natural Heritage. It is the largest and longest glacier in the Alps by area. The glacier length is 22.75 kilometers.
Afterwards, you can enjoy fine delicacies on the panoramic terrace of Hotel Belalp, bask in the sun, and admire the view of the Valais mountain world up to the Matterhorn.

Sturdy footwear, weather-appropriate clothing, sun and rain protection, as well as sufficient supplies of food and drinks are recommended in case there are no open places to stop or shop. Although the path is very well marked throughout, you should always carry a suitable hiking map for safety reasons. Bring poles or other aids.

From Brig, you reach Blatten bei Naters via Naters, then take the cable car to the car-free Belalp.
Paid parking spaces are available at Chienzlichrommu and the parking garage in Blatten bei Naters.
