Ossuary Naters

The ossuary in Naters is definitely worth a visit. Even today, it is mainly used to store the bones of long-dead people whose graves have been excavated. According to calculations, about 31'000 skulls are presumed to be in the ossuary, of with 1'857 are visible at the front.
